Check it out in Hamburg or Beijing
Check out WindSim 7 at WindEnergy Hamburg 2014, 23-26 September; visit us at booth A1-206.
You are welcome to contact us to book a demonstration, or to visit us at our stand, in which case we
will send you a free Visitor invitation.
At WindEnergy Hamburg 2014 we will be co-exhibiting with software company Baze Technology.
Baze Technology delivers a turbine independent Wind Farm Management System (WFMS) that provides
tools for real-time monitoring, reporting, availability planning, stop and loss analysis and fact-based decision making.
Check out WindSim 7 at China Wind Power 2014 in Beijing 22-24 October; visit us at booth W1-B12.
WindSim keeps delivering accurate and proven simulation software and consulting services that help the wind energy industry
worldwide design and operate more profitable wind farms, both onshore and offshore.

Development highlights
WindSim 7.0 includes many new features and valuable extensions. In particular the plug-ins MCP, Reanalysis Data Downloader and Queuing.
The developed MCP (measure-correlate-predict) methods allow you to long-term correlate your measurement data and thereby get the
long-term energy yield for the wind farm.
The data necessary for the MCP methods can be downloaded via our WindSim Reanalysis Data Downloader. This plug-in downloads the closest MERRA
Reanalysis data points to your wind farm and converts them automatically into the WindSim time series format. Those data can also easily
be used as virtual climatology for wind atlas calculations.
Queuing makes it possible for the user to run several projects in a row with the possibility to give priority to certain projects and to get
email updates about the status of the projects.
WindSim 7.0 also includes new features we believe will be highly appreciated by our daily users like cross-checking plots,
a feed-back form, terrain complexity calculation, new wall functions and power density calculation.
With the new Add-On module WindSim Power Line you can establish the data base for the calculation of the transmission line cooling
to make the electricity transfer more efficient.

Memorandum of Understanding
Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani Goa Campus and WindSim AS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding.
The parties agree to undertake collaborative research projects and to improve the exchange of knowledge and
experience within the area of wind energy technology.
Birla Institute of Technology & Science is a technical and science institute for higher education in India.
The institute was established in its present form in 1964. During this period, the institute's transformation
from a regional engineering college to a national university was backed by G.D. Birla.
Today BITS has established centres at Pilani, Goa, Hyderabad and Dubai.
