Wind modelling of ski jumps

The aim of this project was the establishment of a software for wind modelling of ski jumps.

Ski jumping is a sport affected by the local wind conditions. In an attempt to reduce the wind loads, wind sails have been erected in some ski jumps. The influence of this wind sails must be considered carefully in order to create safe and equal conditions for the ski jumpers.

With the established software the detailed wind conditions in ski jumps can be determined
