WindSim 6.0 & WindSim Express Our main concern is accuracy. During the last 10 years we have strived towards making the wind field simulations as accurate as possible. We use CFD, Computational Fluid Dynamics, capable of reproducing complex phenomenon observed in the atmosphere. These modeling capabilities are available in WindSim 6.0. There is an underlying conflict finding a simple way to solve a complex problem. We never said it was easy. But, we are equally concerned about making our technology easily accessible. Based upon our long experience and established best practice we have developed WindSim Express - and made CFD based micro-siting accessible for everyone. Cloud Computing WindSim Express runs in the Cloud, hence you don't need a WindSim license to run it. It also run on your local machine in conjunction with WindSim. It is bundled with WindSim 6.0 for free. Power Forecasting WindSim Power Forecasting is a new Add-On Module, providing short-term power forecasting for each turbine in your wind farm. Accurate wind characteristics on the turbine scale is determined by integrating artificial neural networks corrected mesoscale models with fine-scale CFD models. Consulting Services WindSim’s experts offer a comprehensive range of technical services throughout the entire wind farm lifecycle, from the first site screening to post construction services.
