About WindSim EV
WindSim EV has no time limits or disabled functionality but does limit the model size. The maximum number of cells used to discretize the computational domain is 5000 and there are 10 layers of cells vertically. The limit on the number of cells has two effects: it smoothes the features of the given height and roughness data plus it introduces significant discretization errors. The results obtained with WindSim EV are therefore not intended for commercial work.
PC Requirements
WindSim EV runs on Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP, Server 2003, and Windows 2000 (32-bit & 64-bit versions in all cases). 3D Visualizations do not require—but will render best—with graphics cards that support OpenGL.
WindSim EV requires Microsoft .NET 2.0 which you can find in our download area
